Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is handled when you visit koreabackpackers.com ("Korea Backpackers", "we").

What we collect

Right now the site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comment boxes, so we don't ask you for any personal information.

Like almost every website, some technical information is processed automatically when you visit:

• Hosting: our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and protected from abuse.
• Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

We don't currently use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Messages you send us

If you contact us on Instagram, we only use what you send to reply to you. Instagram's own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.

Changes to this policy

We plan to add features such as job, room and buy-and-sell boards, website analytics and advertising (for example Google AdSense). Before any of these go live, we will update this policy to explain what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and your rights, in line with Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.
