Information, not advice
Our guides, FAQ and phrase pages are general information that we check against official sources when we write them. Rules, prices and procedures change, and your own situation may be different. For decisions about your visa, work, tax, insurance or legal matters, check with the official body first, for example the immigration contact centre 1345 or HiKorea. Korea Backpackers isn't responsible for losses that come from relying only on information on this site.
Posts by members and other people
Community posts, replies and room listings are written by the people who post them, not by us. We don't check every post, room, landlord or meetup, and we don't take part in any deal, contract or meeting between users. Before you pay a deposit, sign a contract or meet someone, check the details yourself. We remove content that breaks our terms when we find it or when it's reported.
Links to other websites
We link to official sites and to services such as booking platforms, apps and job sites because they may help you. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, prices or privacy practices.
Limits of our responsibility
We try to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always be available, complete or error-free. To the extent Korean law allows, Korea Backpackers isn't liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by other users, outside services, or events outside our control. Nothing here limits rights you have under Korean consumer law.

The text, design and logo of this site belong to Korea Backpackers. You're welcome to link to any page and quote short parts with a link back, but please don't copy whole pages. Photos come from Unsplash under the Unsplash licence, or from their owners. Content posted by members stays theirs; by posting it they let us show it on this site.

If a post, listing or photo on this site breaks the law, uses your work without permission, or shares your personal information, use the Report button on it or email hello@koreabackpackers.com with the page address and what's wrong. We'll check it and take it down where needed without delay.
